FIRST CONCERT
The members of Jigsaw gave their first concert, to a capacity audience, at Greenfield's Church, Shrewsbury on Friday 7th December. Proceeds from the evening, £481, were donated to the Greenfield's Church Organ Restoration Fund. See pictures of the concert here.

CHOSEN CHARITY
'The Ark' - a drop-in centre for the homeless in Shrewsbury has been chosen by the choir members as their charity to support for 2008.

NEW MUSICAL EQUIPMENT
Jigsaw have now purchased their own Roland RD 300SX Stage Piano and amplification equipment for use in concert. High quality recording equipment has also been purchased and is being used to record part lines to help members in the learning process. New members will also be able to 'catch up' more quickly with this valuable learning facility.

INTEREST IN JIGSAW
Interest from people looking to join 'Jigsaw' continues at a pace. It is anticipated that a second choir, will be formed early in 2008 (to ensure all who would like to sing can do so in a friendly and relaxed environment) as membership of Jigsaw reaches capacity.

MEMBERSHIP OF JIGSAW SOUND GROWS
The membership of the group has now grown to 32. We are still very happy to consider any prospective new members whether experienced or novice. Should the choir continue to expand at its present rate, beyond the planned membership, a second [training] choir will be formed, to commence in January 2008, so that no one is disappointed.

GRANTS FOR JIGSAW SOUND!
The group have recently been extremely fortunate in being awarded two grants to help defray start-up costs. The very generous grants from Shrewsbury Round Table and The MidCounties Cooperative will be used, along funds raised ny the membership of the choir, to purchase a digital stage piano and allied equipment for the use to use in concert. Our sincere thanks to both organisations for their generosity in supporting us and the work we are doing in the community.

The group have now commissioned their ladies' concert uniform from the choir dressmaker.
